NYP Games ResourceCentre
The NYP Games Resource Centre is to be a permanent educational centre,
focused on game development training for the Playstation 3 and Playstation
Portable platforms, and located at Nanyang Polytechnic, Singapore. Set to
open its doors in June 2009, it is the result of collaboration between Sony
Computer Entertainment Asia, Nanyang Polytechnic, and Premium Agency,
and is facilitated by the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore as part
of its Connected Games Programme.
Premium Agency, as SCE Asia’s training partner, is responsible for teaching
Japanese game development methodsto the future instructors of the centre
directly from their Tokyo studio. This intensive course is being held 5-days a
week, 8 hours a day from April to June 2009. Upon the course’s completion,
the instructors will return to Singapore to bring what they have learned to the
NYP centre’s students.
